Pre-Islam Arabs had, as it's known, knowledg~ about history consisting of a mass-information, "Eyyamu'l-arab" meaning arab days. Also, some epitaphs after the names Imru'l-kays (328), Zebed (512) and Ummu'l-cimfıl (568) found in Laca are by fare the only documentary findings of pre-Islamic life known. Amuallakat-ı seb'a, the seven poems hung on İ<a'ba walls, the prize winner poems of the timewritten on gol d, and "emsal", a choise of proverbs, and a ."sam ar", a variety of moody
