Euro Alanı’nda cari hesap dengesizlikleri büü olsa da,2008 yııda küesel finansal çöüşü

bir sonucu olarak bazıEuro Alanıükelerinde borçsorunlarıı ortaya çımasıa değn yeterince

ilgi çkmemişerdir. Bu çlışa betimsel olarak Euro Alanı’ndaki cari hesap dengesizliklerini Euro

Alanı’ndaki üetkenlik farklıılarıile ilişilendirmektedir.Euro Alanı’nı coğafi konum itibariyle

güeyinde yerleşişbulunan bazıükeler üetkenliklerini arttıma noktasıda diğrlerinin gerisinde

kalmışgöümektedir.Bu çlışa sö konusu gerçğn Euro Alanı’ndaki cari hesap dengesizliklerinin

altıda yatan bir neden olarak öemine vurgu yapmaktadı.
